In loving memory of Kathryn Wells, BLE, PIEMA (1968-2025)
Finance Director & Lead Auditor
Kathryn qualified as a Land Agent and Chartered Surveyor and worked as the assistant Factor at Glamis Castle. Following a career break, she joined her husband, Kit, in setting up Little Green Consulting Ltd, a Business Management Consultancy specialising in environmental and sustainability systems to support the business process.
In 2017, Kathryn joined Muntons plc on a part-time basis to provide technical support for the environmental team. Muntons plc is a malting company producing grain malt and a range of malt products, including malt extracts, dried malt powders, malt flours, and homebrew kits. Kathryn brought her legal and technical experience to bear in supporting the company with environmental permitting, pollution management, and energy matters.
During her time at Muntons, the company developed new practices in wastewater treatment, including a project to recycle water and the replacement of gas as its principal fuel with biomass sourced from Thetford Forest. As Muntons grew its sustainability footprint to become a global industry leader in its approach to sustainability, Kathryn played an active role in improving waste management, increasing materials efficiency, reducing the impact of effluent and finding ways to lower energy usage and carbon output.
In 2022, due to growing demand for support, Kathryn left Muntons to resume her roles as Finance Director and Lead Auditor at Little Green Consulting Ltd, supporting the growth of the business through and beyond the impact of COVID and seeing the client base more than double in five years. Alongside this, her role encompassed safeguarding the administration and financial management of the company.
Kathryn passed away in October 2025. Her contribution to the creation and growth of Little Green Consulting Ltd was immeasurable, and she is greatly missed by all who had the privilege of working with her.

Adrian Dawson
Adrian spent 30 years of his career working in the Police Force before joining AJN Steelstock Ltd as a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor drawing on his leadership experience from the police to deliver health, safety and environmental initiatives across a growing company.
Having left AJN Steelstock Ltd in 2020 with the intention of travelling, the COVID pandemic prevented the fulfilment of that plan. Consequently, Kit was able to persuade Adrian to join Little Green Consulting Ltd in the summer of 2022 to provide Health, Safety and Environmental support for the growing number of clients in the business.

Jude DeSouza
Environmental Consultant
Jude joined Little Green Consulting Ltd in 2025 as an Environmental Consultant and has quickly become an integral part of the team. A qualified ISO 9001, 14001 and 50001 Lead Auditor, Jude is currently undertaking his ISO 45001 Lead Auditor training, with plans to broaden his expertise further across multiple ISO systems and extend his consultancy work.
At Little Green Consulting, Jude supports Kit and Adrian in audits and the implementation of Environmental Management Systems and leads health and safety training for clients. His ambition is to continue developing his skills across the full range of the company’s services and, in time, to work with a wider international client base across Europe.
Outside of work, Jude is an enthusiastic advocate for the outdoors. He runs DeSouza Outdoors, his own business focused on helping individuals reconnect with and make the most of the natural environment. He also works with schools in Suffolk and Yorkshire, teaching fishing as part of the wider curriculum and encouraging young people to engage with the outdoors. It is a passion that sits comfortably alongside the values at the heart of Little Green Consulting.
