Little Green Consulting Ltd was established as a family run environmental consultancy in 2008. Today we specialise in a range of business management support services whilst retaining our original environmental support for business, planning and permitting.
With a background as Chartered Surveyors and Environment Managers, our directors have a wealth of experience in developing business management systems that enable organisations to incorporate Environment and Quality into strategic business-making decisions.
We believe that training is the key to effective understanding and engagement with business management, so we ensure our staff are well trained and also able to deliver training to enable our clients to achieve maximum benefit from what they are investing in.
We operate within a range of disciplines which include developing and auditing environmental management systems, helping organisations meet their environmental and legal obligations, environmental project management, and identifying energy efficiencies. With a background in the food and drink industry, we have now expanded to also include a wide range of industries and businesses. As a consultancy, our expertise encompasses Quality Management (ISO 9001), Environmental Management (ISO 14001), Occupational Health & Safety (ISO 45001), Energy Management (ISO 50001), Asset Management (ISO 55001) and Business Continuity Management (ISO 22301). This has meant that we have also become experts at developing Integrated Management Systems to combine different disciplines in one system. We also provide Lead Auditor and Training experience in most of these disciplines. Some Case Studies are included on this website.
Little Green Consulting Ltd has also been responsible for the Environmental Statements for a number of Anaerobic Digester projects with a 100% record of achieving planning consent and is currently leading on both the planning and environmental elements of Anaerobic Digester projects in Norfolk and Suffolk that will generate energy and bio-fertiliser and remove large tonnages of road haulage from the national road network system. The Company has developed its expertise with Environmental Permits and Environmental Management Systems suitable for AD plants and has devised an environmental risk assessment process for the AD process.
This familiarity with Environmental Planning and Environmental Permits has also meant that we have built up a network of Ecologists who we work with to provide a range of surveys and reports to support the planning process.
The introduction of the new High-Level Standard has meant that the implementation of Management Systems has become more structured allowing expertise gained in quality environment and health & safety management to be transferable to other disciplines. This has led the company to being involved in the design and implementation of Energy, Business Continuity and Asset Management systems in a wide range of industries and organisations.
Little Green Consulting Ltd has developed, implemented and audited BC Management Systems and planned and led Business Continuity and Risk Assessment exercises, deploying third party agents such as the Fire Brigade, Environment Agency and media training companies. In addition, we have developed Risk Appraisal systems and helped organisations look at ways of managing their risks.
