It would not be right to let September pass without acknowledging two great losses. On the one front was the very public and emotional death and funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II, whilst on a much more personal front we lost our beloved Stress Relief Manager, Milo the Border Collie. Given that he left us the night before Her Majesty, it was a comfort to know that he had to go to round up the Corgi’s for Her Majesty.
On a lighter note, it has been a successful month with regards to audits. Not only was the Soufflet audit passed successfully, but Omex Agrifluids Ltd also achieved certification to ISO 14001:2015. Chris Gipp, MD of Omex Agrifluids thanked Kit and Adrian for all their hard work in supporting the implementation and commented that it was now up to the Company to continue to live up to the required standards. Peter Sheppardson, HSSEQ Manager (Omex UK Group of Companies) also thanked Kit and stated that he looked forward to working with LGCL in respect of the other companies within the Omex Group.
